We are committed to developing our staff and to fair and inclusive employment practices. We will work proactively to make sure that there are no restrictions to building and developing a diverse workforce.

Draft ICO equality objectives
We are developing Equality Objectives and an action plan to help us take the next stages in taking forward equality and diversity. Some of the actions within the Single Equality Scheme will feed into our plans which we will publish once they are finalised. Our Equality and Diversity Committee has agreed to the draft objectives detailed on the attachment and they form the basis of the work we are now taking forward.

Equality and diversity questionnaire
We have created a questionnaire to help us to produce a profile of our customers. We hope that this will make sure we provide an accessible service for all. It contains nine questions and we estimate that it should take no longer than five minutes to complete.
All information is confidential. The information you provide is anonymous and cannot be linked to you personally. The ICO will only use the data for the production of anonymous statistics and to help us achieve our equality and diversity objectives as outlined in our Single Equality Scheme.
